My name is Paul Allen.  I am a 1987 graduate of Gladewater ISD, and proud of this district. My wife and two daughters are also GISD graduates and my grandson is in the fifth grade at  Weldon. After graduation I served 12 years in the United States Army.  I have been in school support services for 28 years (Gladewater, Kilgore, and Sabine ISD).  I believe that the school day starts and ends with transportation.  The students safety and welfare are my main concerns, each student while on a bus is like my own child.  My door is always open. 

Mission Statement

The main priority of the Gladewater ISD Transportation Department is the safety of the children we transport. Every child on a GISD bus deserves to feel safe and secure and our drivers work daily to see that this is accomplished. Each driver goes thru a rigorous training process, is required to complete a 20-hour Bus Driver Safety Course and is CPR certified.
