Principal: Amanda Langford

Amanda Langford has worked in Gladewater since 2013.  She served as the principal at GPS from 2013-2019, then moved up with many of her students to Weldon.  Amanda grew up in Richardson, Texas. She has a bachelor's degree from Mississippi State University, a master's degree from Mississippi College, and completed principal certification from Stephen F. Austin State University.  Her mother is a retired special education teacher and is what drew her to the profession.  Amanda's husband, Chris Langford, works at Gladewater High School and their children are all Gladewater bears too: Emma, Ava, Sam, and Sophie.

 Assistant Principal: Kamisha Floyd

Kamisha Floyd has worked in Gladewater since 2018.  She served as the 2/3 math intervention teacher at WES before becoming the assistant principal in 2019.  Kamisha grew up in Austin, Texas. She has a bachelor's degree and a master's degree from Stephen F. Austin State University and completed principal certification from Stephen F. Austin State University.  Kamisha's husband, Derrick Floyd, works at Gladewater High School and their children Kamryn c/o 2023, and Aubry are also Gladewater Bears.
