About the Director

My name is Matt McIntosh. I started my career at Gladewater ISD in 2011 as a Maintenance Technician. The following year I transitioned to Director of Bus Maintenance and Yard Services. In February of this year I began working as Director of Maintenance. Before joining Gladewater ISD I worked as an Electronic Technician for 25 years, as well as a self employed Mechanic and Building contractor. Over the past few years I have attended TASBO seminars where I successfully completed necessary courses to obtain a CTSBO certification. As Maintenance Director my staff and I strive to provide a safe and secure environment for staff and students alike.
