Texas law requires students in Texas public schools to enroll each year. GISD has streamlined the registration process for returning students, making it 100% online. Every effort has been made to make this process quick and easy. Please complete the 3 steps below for EACH child who will be returning to GISD schools for the 2020-2021 school year. A student is not considered to be registered until all 3 steps are completed.
STEP 1 - PROOF OF RESIDENCY
Please scan or send a picture of a document from the list below to this email address: email@example.com. The document must show the parent/guardian’s name and correct address within Gladewater ISD. Please include the student's name and grade in your email.
Current property tax statement
If your child is a transfer student, please send a copy of the GISD letter approving the transfer for 2020-2021 to the email address above in lieu of residency documents.
Note: To prove residency if you are living with a friend or family member within Gladewater ISD, an affidavit must be completed, notarized, and submitted to the email address above, along with a current utility bill.
STEP 2 - ONLINE MEAL APPLICATION
This application is required for all returning GISD students, even if the student has not received or qualified for free or reduced priced meals in the past. Please click the link below for the online form. You may use the guest login if you do not already have an account.
STEP 3 - ONLINE REGISTRATION THROUGH PARENT PORTAL
Please click the following link to log into the parent portal and complete the registration process for returning students.
STEP 4 (OPTIONAL) - BUS ENROLLMENT FORM
If your child will be riding the bus to/from school, please click the link to complete the short registration form for GISD transportation.
