Texas law requires students in Texas public schools to enroll (register) each year. Registration for GISD students is quick, easy, and 100% online.
Please complete the 2 steps below for EACH child who will be returning to GISD schools for the 2021-2022 school year. A student is not considered to be enrolled until both steps have been completed.
STEP 1 - PROOF OF RESIDENCY
Please scan or send a picture of one document from the list below to this email address: firstname.lastname@example.org.
Current property tax statement
The subject line of your email must be the Student's Name and Grade. The body of your email must include the Parent/Guardian's Name. The residency document you send must show the parent/guardian's name and correct address within Gladewater ISD.
Note: To prove residency if you are living with a friend or family member within Gladewater ISD, a shared residence affidavit must be completed, notarized, and submitted to the email address above, along with a current utility bill.
STEP 2 - ONLINE REGISTRATION THROUGH PARENT PORTAL
Please click the following link to log into the parent portal and complete the registration process for returning students.
Once you are logged in, select your student and click "START REGISTRATION". If a window pops up with your student's name and a "RESUME REGISTRATION" button, just click that button. The system will take you through the required registration forms.
STEP 3 (OPTIONAL) - BUS ENROLLMENT FORM
If your child will be riding the bus to/from school, please click the link to complete the short registration form for GISD transportation.
