At GPS, we had a very special visitor to our Head Start kiddos. A helicopter dropped around 2,000 eggs for our students to hunt. The eggs were provided by our amazing community members. We had to postpone our egg drop due to weather, but we are so glad we finally got to do it! The kids absolutely loved this experience!
At GPS, our Head Start students have been learning all about the life cycle of a butterfly. We observed the metamorphosis from caterpillar to chrysalis and then released our butterflies last week. Our students were very excited to watch as the painted lady butterflies took their first flight.
First grade had the opportunity to perform at Gusher Days this past weekend. Students dressed in their western best to dance and sing their Texas songs.
